To Our Moms, With Love

If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go
where a prayer has not already been.
Robert Brault

More than ever, have these words held true.

Today, I celebrate our mothers.  Who when we shared our plans to adopt, began praying for Sarah.  For her health, her safety, and for the moment she joins our family.

My mother-in-law has taken over mothering Addy and Austin while we are gone, their taxi driver, and keeping their schedules going.  She's planning a party for Austin, to celebrate the day he was born this week.  Making school treats and taking Addy shopping for her brother.
My mom, who has come into the city to take them for weekends in our hometown.  To have an Easter Egg Hunt with their cousins.  She, too, has planned adventures and games to keep them busy.
And both are shopping for Sarah, the grand-daughter they've only seen through photos.  The little fairy, fluttering around the grounds, whom God placed in our hearts eight months ago.

And this mama's heart will be filled with joy the day Sarah meets her grandmothers, who prayed for her from the day they knew.

Yes, all my babies are surrounded by much love and prayer.
We love you.  Happy Mother's Day

Thanks, Donna

Deeply humbled are we from the outpouring of love, prayers, and messages we have received from around the globe and continue to receive encouragement daily.
I don't believe in coincidences, nor do I believe events happen by chance.
God is in control and has a perfect plan for us. Our families and friends back home have reaffirmed this.  His hand has masterfully woven the events of the last eight months to bring us where we are at this moment in time.
And He is here now.

This song was on my computer today, and not by chance, once again confirming that
God is in control.
